This is Ellie (Dr. Eleanor Rowe) inside an ancient temple battling, you guessed it, a giant snail  That thing is no good dood

You may remember this snail and Ellie from a long time ago. You don't? Oh well, they were redesigned and this is their new look :w00t: Ellie works very closely with Himeko and she is basically Indiana Jones minus the sweet hat

The lighting was a lot of fun to do in this one :) Those pillars light the temple. At first I had some intense zig zag design but it was too much @_@ I drew that rifle, more or less, from memory :XD:

I hope you like them!

Mike

Remember shoot the antenna off first so it can't smell you, then use a combination of stealth and surprise hit-and-run fire, then when its health is less then 50% it will resort to ram attacks. Dodge these quickly to get it stuck in the wall and finish it off by hitting the red weak spot. It will drop the obsidian key which is used in map 1C...wait did I type that or think that...meh "posts"

(ps fine pic good sir, albeit she looks a little like Yuuka Kazami if she got stuck in raccoon city.)

Woahh, this's really cool, Mike! I love how Ellie turns out and that snail looks very cool! :D
But the greatest thing here in my mind is dat freaking awesome background!! I really wonder how much time you spent on each block and block... and those light pillars also very well too!!:love:
Great job, Mike, love this so much! :iconchuuplz:

Thank you so much Por! That background was quite tedious ^^; The lights on the pillars were a pain in my butt actually. I redrew them so many times to make them look right @_@

Haha, I actually do remember them. :iconmindblownplz: Good to see they're making a comeback!
Anyway the lighting and just the room in general turned out really well, and overall the scene feels complete, but I might have added some slime behind the snail? I guess I don't know if it would leave any, since it hardly seems like a normal snail, but just a thought. :B

I think only you and Val remember them

Thank you so much! The lighting was a whore to make .I redid the "bulbs" so many times to make sure they looked correct on the pillar. So much skewing and angling @_@

You know, I thought that a few hours after I posted this. The snail "lives" in the desert so I think it is actually pretty dry but a little mucus would probably help :plotting:

Of course! :pringles:

And yeah, for me anyway it seems more realistic if there's at least a little bit, that or you make him look less slimy and more scarecrow-esque. :pringles:
